Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny hits the right note donating £495,000 to save hometown ACCORDION factory

The French defender clearly has a song in his heart - and pride in his Gallic roots - by being part of a consortium to rescue the stricken factory in Tulle

Laurent Koscielny has hit the right note by helping donate £495,000 to save an ACCORDION factory in his hometown.
The Gunners defender is apparently part of an investment group who have acted to rescue the stricken Maugein in the countryside town of Tulle after it went into receivership last year.
The factory turned over €800,000 in 2012 but with competition from cheaper suppliers in Eastern Europe and the Far East they are struggling.
Struck by the plight of the factory, local mayor Bernard Combes reached out to Koscielny who has dug deep in a bid to save Maugein.
Tulle is French president Francois Hollande's home constituency and after he made his first speech in the town after being elected president, him and his wife were serenaded by an accordionist playing La Vie en Rose.
While Koscielny's gesture is an honourable one, it is doubtful it will hurt his pocket too much - the 28-year-old earns a reported £2.6m per year at the Emirates.
