Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic agrees to Inter Milan transfer at the end of the season

The Serbian has decided he wants a new challenge after eight years at Old Trafford and has today agreed his summer move to the San Siro

Nemanja Vidic will join Inter Milan this summer, the Italian club have confirmed.
As Mirror Sport reported last month, he has now agreed a move to the San Siro, with the Nerazzurri pipping Galatasaray and Monaco to his signature.
Vidic has spent eight years at Old Trafford, winning five Premier League titles and played an integral part in the club's Champions League success in 2008.
He is one of a number of experienced players out of contract this summer, with both Rio Ferdinand and Patrice Evra also expected to depart.
Inter president Erick Thohir was understandably delighted with the acquisition, with the Italian club desperate to return to the Champions League.
He told the club's official website: "Vidic is a world-class player and I am extremely happy to have completed this deal to bring him to Milan.
"He's one of the world's best defenders and his qualities, international pedigree and charisma will be an asset to the team and help bring through our younger players.
"He will bring added value to the club and is another piece of the great Inter side we are building.
"I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Manchester United, Nemanja and his entourage for the professional and co-operative approach they have shown throughout the negotiations."
