Manchester City have 'no intention' of selling Sergio Aguero says manager Manuel Pellegrini

The Chilean coach plays down reports that the Argentina striker could leave the Etihad in the summer

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has dismissed reports linking striker Sergio Aguero with a move away from the club.
Despite injuries threatening to derail the Argentina star's season, the forward has still bagged 15 Premier League goals this term.
Aguero has scored 73 goals in 113 appearances for City since moving from Atletico Madrid for around £38m in 2011, and his consistent form has reportedly attracted the interest of La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid and Barcelona.
However, Pellegrini insisted that Aguero simply is not for sale.
The Chilean coach said: "I don't think the idea of Sergio is to leave Manchester City.
"Big clubs do not sell their best players and I don't think Sergio will be going anywhere.
"Sergio is very happy here. You never know what can happen in the future, but he is a very important player here."
City's Quadruple dream is over after they were humbled by Championship side Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup quarter-final on Sunday.
The Latics emerged victorious at the Etihad, while City's Champions League hopes appear slim as they prepare to face Barcelona at Camp Nou with a 2-0 deficit from the first leg.
The Premier League pressure is also on the Citizens after leaders Chelsea opened up a nine-point gap over the weekend.
However, Pellegrini's side will head back to the summit if they win their three games in hand.
