David Villa bound for MLS?

Atletico Madrid striker, David Villa’s contract expires at the end of this season and while he is expected to renew with Atletico Madrid for the next year or so, there are reports that David Beckham is targeting Spain’s leading goal-scorer to make the move to his new MLS club based in Miami in 2017.

According to Spanish sports daily Marca, Villa is open to a move to the United States, but still feels as if he has a few years of top-flight European football in his system.
In addition to Beckham, several clubs from the Italian Sere A and Premier League clubs are interested in bringing on the proven scorer.
However, should Villa still be an active player by the time the organisation will be up and running in 2017, Villa will be 36 years old and well past his prime.
