Pepe Reina set for £2m move to Bayern Munich

Liverpool goalkeeper, Pepe Reina will reportedly make a £2m move to German Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich and reunite with his former Barcelona alum, manager Pep Guardiola.
Reina spent last season on loan to Italian Serie A side, Napoli, but was unable to secure a permanent move due to the player’s wages, but after not playing in any of Liverpool’s pre-season matches in their US tour, Reina urged the club to negotiate his transfer.
Reina will now end his eight-year spell at Anfield, after The Times’ Tony Barret and This is Anfield reported that Liverpool had accepted an offer from Bayern Munich, which was been reported to be worth £2 million.
Guardiola had stated earlier this summer that his intention was to bring in a keeper to rival German international goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer for the starting role, which he has seemingly found in the ever-spry Reina.
Reina leaves Merseyside having made 395 appearances for the Reds since joining the club from Villarreal in 2006.
