Inter Milan sporting director, Piero Ausillo has rejected rumours that the club is interested in bringing Barcelona right-back, Dani Alves to the Serie A, stating that the Brazilian is not in their plans.
In an interview with Sports Mediaset via Sky Sports, Ausillo stated clearly that the club was not negotiating or had any interest in Alves.
“Dani Alves is not in our plans.”
Alves’ agent, Bibian Weggelaar also denied any interest from Inter Milan nor Liverpool, who have also been linked to the 31-year-old over the past several days.
“You should ask it to Inter, because we have never had any contact with Inter.
“We don’t know anything, there were no contacts and for us it is difficult to comment on these rumours.”
The Brazilian is in the final year of his contract and various media reports are suggesting that the player will likely leave this summer.
Alves will return to Barcelona training on Tuesday, where he will undergo his medical tests after an extended holiday following the disappointing 2014 World Cup.
