Arsene Wenger hits back at 'disrespectful' Jose Mourinho after Arsenal's FA Cup win over Liverpool

The Gunners boss saw his side ensure their place in the sixth round of the FA Cup thanks to goals from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Lukas Podolski

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger labelled Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho "disrespectful", just days after the Portuguese coach called him "a specialist in failure".
Speaking after the Gunners had beaten Liverpool 2-1 to reach the last eight of the FA Cup. Wenger remarked: "I do not want to go into that - those were silly, disrespectful remarks.
"I never spoke about him in my press conference.
"I know one thing: it is more embarrassing for Chelsea than it is for me."
Eight days after witnessing his side crumble in a 5-1 hammering by Brendan Rodgers' side at Anfield, Wenger saw his side gain some semblance of revenge in north London.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain played a starring role, scoring the first and teeing up Lukas Podolski for the second, as Arsenal edged into the quarter-finals with a 2-1 win.
And the resilience shown by his side, ahead of Wednesday's Champions League tie with European champions Bayern Munich, has left Wenger happy.
Cool as a cucumber: Oxlade-Chamberlain scores to make it 1-0...
"The intensity of the performance pleased me," added the French coach.
"I am very proud of the way we responded to the huge defeat that we had [at Anfield] last week.
"Liverpool are a good side and showed it again today. It was a great game."
Arsenal's reserve keeper Lukasz Fabianski deputised for the rested Wojciech Szczesny, and Wenger reserved special praise for the second of his Polish stoppers.
"He was terrific," stated Wenger. "I am very pleased for him because he is a great goalkeeper. I keep him telling him that and the time to show it is on the pitch."
Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski, scorer of the game's match winning goal, tweeted this message of celebration
