Fantastic Four: See the new faces as Kate Mara and Michael B. Jordan confirm roles in the superhero reboot





House of Cards actress Kate and The Wire star Michael took to Twitter and Instagram to confirm their roles in the Fantastic Four movies

 


Kate Mara and Michael B. Jordan have confirmed their roles in the Fantastic Four reboot.

The main cast of the upcoming superhero flick were reportedly revealed yesterday and now two of the new cast have given official confirmation that they'll be strapping on the Fantastic suits.

That Awkward Moment star Michael B. Jordan - who will play Johnny Storm in the movie - posted a picture of the Fatastic Four logo with the caption: "FLAME ON!!" on his Instagram account.

While House of Cards star Kate Mara took to Twitter to make her subtle announcement - which is handy as she's playing The Invisible Woman, Sue Storm.
"Feeling invisible....in a wonderful way :)," the actress wrote.

It was also reported Jordan's That Awkward Moment co-star Miles Teller will play Mr Fantastic, Reed Richards after beating out Game of Thrones actors Kit Harington and Richard Madden for the role , which was originally played by Ioan Gruffudd.

Teller will be reportedly joined by British actor Jamie Bell who will play Ben Grimm, otherwise known as The Thing, though he has yet to confirm his casting.

It was also revealed that the reboot would be based on The Ultimate Fantastic Four comics which shows the characters as younger men and women.

It's not yet known which villains will feature though the magazine reports that casting will begin in the next few weeks for the roles.

The original Fantastic Four movie and its sequel The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer took a collective $619 million at the box office when released.

The new Fantastic Four reboot cast 

Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd, Dark Angel star Jessica Alba, Captain America Star Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis starred in the original films.

* The Fantastic Four is scheduled for release 19 June, 2015
