South Africa, the President has rewarded the CHAN Eagles handsomely for
an impressive outing on its debut
President Goodluck Jonathan has splashed the sum of 30.5million
Naira on the Super Eagles who won bronze at the 2014 African Nations
Championship at a reception in Abuja.
The President also admitted being thrilled by the team's remarkable comeback against Morocco in a quarter-final match at the tournament.

The assistant coaches also smiled home with N1m each while eight backroom staff got N500,000 each.
The country's number one citizen noted that "though they did not win the competition, they still won the heart of Nigerians".
"This gesture is to show our appreciation for your
hard work, commitment, and dedication to your fatherland. You can always
count on us for support.
"The Federal Government is focused on rewarding sports men and women who have made the country proud at various international competitions," he added.
Similarly after their win against Morocco, sports minister Bolaji
Abdullahi showered the team with $100,000 (about N16 million), the same
amount they got in the semi final despite losing to Ghana.
