Jose Mourinho takes defeat on the chin as Chelsea exit the FA Cup at Manchester City

Deserved to lose: Mourinho admitted City were the better side at the Etihad
The Blues were beaten 2-0 at the Etihad on Saturday evening and the Portuguese accepts his side were simply second best throughout

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho accepted Manchester City deserved to progress to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup at the expense of his side.
City secured a 2-0 win at the Etihad, courtesy of goals in either half from Stevan Jovetic and Samir Nasri. It ended the Blues' pursuit of the trophy, just a day after Mourinho labelled Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger a "specialist in failure".
However, the Portuguese was magnanimous in defeat, admitting he had no complaints at the final score.
"I don't say my team failed, I say City played much better than us, deserved much more than us to win," he said.
"The situation is simple to analyse: they were the best team, they won."
This defeat at the Etihad came just 12 days after Mourinho delivered a tactical masterclass as his side defeated City 1-0 in the Premier League. And the 51-year-old believes the manner of the loss showed how good his side level of performance was on their previous visit.
He added: "The second goal was an offside but we would still have lost 1-0 as we were never close to scaring City in the game.
"Today proved how difficult it is to win here, which shows how well my team did in the last game."
Moment of silence: The players pay tribute to the late Sir Tom Finney
